As part of our commitment to responsible metal recovery, AMR offers freekerbside collection for household metal waste in selected regions. This initiative is designed to make recycling more accessible for households while diverting valuable materials from landfill.
We collect a variety of acceptable metal-based items including:
Old appliances and white goods (e.g. fridges, washing machines)
Ewaste
Hot water systems
Roofing iron and metal sheeting
Fencing, gates, and garden tools
Metal furniture and fixtures
Bicycles, metal toys, and exercise equipment
Wiring, pipes, and scrap steel
All items must be placed kerbside the evening before collection and must be under 3 metres in length. We do not accept hazardous, flammable, or non-metallic waste.
AMR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Kindly place your scrap metal items on the kerbside by the afternoon prior to your scheduled collection date to ensure they are ready for pickup.
Please ensure all items are dismantled and/or do not exceed 3 metres in length.
AMR staff are unable to access private properties. Items should be placed on the grass kerbside or, where feasible, against your fence or letterbox. Items must not be left on the footpath.
Please note that exact collection times cannot be provided.
If your scheduled collection is not completed by 4:00 pm on the designated day, the booking will automatically be rescheduled for the following day.

All AMR yards offer door trade to business and the general public. Feel free to visit us anytime during business hours.

Free Onsite Drop-Off
All AMR yards offer free drop-off for scrap steel items such as tin, wire, roofing materials, hot water systems, white goods, and electrical waste.
